Abstract
"This volume began life, about a quarter of a century ago, as an edition of the three series of reports found in conjunction with Spelman's reports in MS. Hargrave 388, the chief of which is Roger Yorke's 'abridgement' or notebook. Since the bulk was not at first large, it seemed desirable to extend the project by gathering together at the same time all the other series known to me from the reign of Henry VII which are not yet in print..." - Preface
